SEPTEMBER ALREADY.

Can't say I'm sorry that it is September. Fall is my favorite season of the year. Next favorite season is Winter. Can you tell  I don't like hot weather. LOL.

I actually managed to stitch on The Universe in a Jar for the last 3 weeks. Made some good progress.
Here's what you saw last time.

And here is where he is now.

I hope to make more progress before the next update.

I have also been diamond painting but don't have a current photo.

Please visit the other members of the SAL to see the awesome projects they are working on.

My next diamond painting came today. He is so gorgeous.

Can't wait to start him but I'm being good and finishing a diamond painting UFO first.

Only have a little bit to go.

NEW CRAFT.

I have added a new craft to the repertoire. I discovered diamond painting and I love it. I am pleased to announce that I have finished my first painting and I am totally in love with it.

If you haven't tried it yet I would recommend giving it a try. It is faster than cross stitch and so beautiful. The picture does not show how much is sparkles.

Now back to regularly scheduled cross stitch. I am working on Draggin in the Morning by HAED. Randal Spangler. This is today's starting point.

That's all for now. Craft on everyone.

OOPSY.

I am so bad. Totally missed the last check in. Sorry about that. But not much progress to show as I lost interest in the project really fast.  I have been having a bit of squirrel lately and can't settle on a project for more than a couple of days it seems. Still I am making progress on many things. Not exactly my SAL project but here is what I've been up too.

I did manage a little bit on The Universe in a Jar but I don't know if it is noticeable.

Then these came out to play.

And finally the one that is now my obsession.

Hopefully I will be able to focus on this one for awhile.

There are a whole group of ladies in this SAL with me that are much better at focusing than I am. Be sure to go check out their wonderful projects.
Till next time.
Happy stitching and hopefully no "oh look a squirrel".

IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN. SAL UPDATE AND A CHANGE

It seems that 3 weeks doesn't take any time at all. It must be true that the older you get the faster time goes.

I made good progress again on Chocolate Chocolate and More Chocolate this time.

This was last time you saw it.

And this is where it is now.

This is the entire project done so far.

Now I did mention a change and if you follow this SAL you are used to me changing projects frequently. I will be changing for the next update.  I am doing a FB 90 day challenge that starts on July 1 so I will be changing to The Universe in a Jar for the next 90 days. I need a break from all of the brown. Here is the project I am changing to.

I so need all the color on this one.

Please stop by and check on the other talented stitchers that I am doing this SAL with. You won't be disappointed when you see their beautiful work.

A PRODUCTIVE 3 WEEKS

It's already time for a SAL update. I have lots of progress to show. Chocolate Chocolate and More Chocolate  HAED Randal Spangler is progressing quite well. Last time you saw it I was here.

I had stated that I was hoping for a page finish by the end of May and I made it with 2 days to go.

I then moved to the bottom of the next column and away I went. I have had a lot of stitching time lately. One of the perks of being retired.

This is where I am as of this morning.

Oreos anyone.

Hopefully I will make as much  progress in the next 3 weeks so I have lots to show for the next update.

Please don't forget to check out the other talented stitchers who are doing this SAL with me.

SAL CHECKIN

3 weeks just seems to fly by. I have made a lot of progress since last you saw Chocolate Chocolate and More Chocolate. I have had another page finish and then moved on to the top of the next column. Hoping for a page finish on the current page before the end of May.

Woke up to this today so will be staying in and stitching the day away.

Gotta love spring in Montana.

On to what you came for.

Here is the last time you saw Chocol

Then a page finish

And where I am now.  The never ending cookies.

I am still going strong on the 90 day challenge with this.

BACK TO REGULAR SAL POSTS

Happy Sunday everyone. I am back to regularly posting my updates. Like Catherine I had to move so stitching was sporadic in February and March. Move has been successfully accomplished and I am now stitching on a daily basis again, (I love being retired.)

This being said the move seriously upset my rotation plans for 2019 so I am just stitching on whatever I want as the mood strikes.  I did join a 90 day challenge on FB so hoping to get a lot done on my current obsession Chocolate Chocolate and More Chocolate. We have to stitch on one project for 90 days starting on April 1 and going till the end of June. I'm hoping to make a significant progress. We'll see how it goes as you know how long my attention span is.

Enough blathering. Here is what you all came to see. Starting point on April 1.

Page finish.

And current progress and starting point for today. Just look at those eyes.

Well I'm off to do a couple of chores and then plan on stitching for the rest of the day.

Before you go though please check out the work of the other talented stitchers that I am doing this SAL with.
