I FOUND IT. SAL TIME AGAIN. AND OTHER THINGS.

I knew the correct project was out there somewhere & about 2 weeks ago I found it. It is a UFO that I started several years ago then put away. Now it is back out and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

This is what it looked like when I got it out.

I am now working from the bottom up. For some reason I hate stitching down. Go figure.
Here is where it is now. I decided to sort of outline the current page. We'll see how that works. I would like to have a page finish by the end of the year but won't hold my breath.

I also have a non stitchy finish. I also do diamond painting and finished this one last week.

I have started another one.

And last but not least I have also been knitting. I usually knit at knit group as it is the most portable hobby.

Well I have rambled on for long enough. Please make sure to go over and look at the wonderful projects the other members of this SAL are working on.

Avis, Claire, Gun, Carole, Sue, Constanze, Christina, Kathy, Margaret, Linda, Heidi, Jackie, Sunny, Hayley, Megan, Deborah, Mary Margaret, Renee, Jenny, Carmela, Jocelyn, Sharon, Daisy, Anne, Connie

I'll leave you with this picture of my Christmas Cactus. It is on a roll this year

  2. Love your Christmas cactus! Mine doesn't have any buds yet but it won't be long now. How many Randal Spangler designs do you have. I really like all the ones you've been working on so far. my crocheted blanket is taking up all my knitting time at the moment. I should finish in the next couple of weeks and then my reward will be some knitting.

  3. I probably have all of his designs and I have about 20 of them started. Someday I will finish another one.

  4. I find it's so nice to bring out an older project and work on it. That's the beauty of this SAL! I haven't yet tried the diamond painting, but would love to.

  5. Afternoon Tea is a favorite and I love seeing your progress! I wish I could knit. The yarn you are using is gorgeous. And your Diamond Painting makes me smile. Dona Gelsinger is another favorite artist. (I need to finish a few projects so I can start on one of her snowmen...)

  9. You've been busy! I should use you as inspiration to return to older, abandoned projects -- and to remember that it's okay to abandon things you're not enjoying! Your diamond paintings look lovely, too; I've been seeing them in the fabric store lately and wondering about them ... but I am committed to not buying any new projects until 2021 (though we'll see how that goes!)
