TIME FOR ANOTHER SAL UPDATE

It's that time again and I have progress. The hour a day is working. Actually some days it is more like 2 or 3 hours and some days no hours but it all works out.

This is where you saw it last time.

Here is where it is now.

I am pleased with the progress and hope to make a lot more in September. We are doing SOLO SEPTEMBER  in a couple of groups. We pick a project and work on only it for the entire month. We'll see how it goes.

Please make sure to check in with the rest of the talented stitchers that I am doing this SAL with. Also welcome back MaryMargaret.

SAL TIME--I'M BACK

So glad to be rejoining the SAL. The break was just what I needed to sort out my issue with Chocolate Chocolate and More Chocolate. If you recall I was having issues with my fabric. Every time I picked it up there were new issues. Missing fabric threads, small holes etc. The fabric was disintegrating. I finally bit the bullet and even though I had a lot done I restarted it on a better piece of fabric. I am so much happier with it now and have made a good restart. Since other projects are also calling me I have come up with a plan (we'll see how this goes LOL). One of the floss tubers I watch does what she calls Daily 30 with her focus piece. She does 30 minutes on it everyday before other stitching. I have decided to do Daily 60 on Chocolate. Hopefully that will give me more good progress.

Here is where it was when I restarted on July 19.

And here is where it is now.

I may try to save the long column on the original but haven't really decided how yet.

I do this SAL with a group of very talented stitchers who are working on a variety of amazing projects.

Please check out their projects.

HALLOWEEN IN JULY-DAYS 3, 4 & 5.

 Day 3 was Black Cat.

There has been good progress on him.

On day 4 I realized I didn't have a diamond painting in my rotation so I kitted this up and started it.

Day 5 is Witch Way.

So far it is going good.

HALLOWEEN IN JULY

Day 2 of Halloween in July is Boo. No idea when I started it but the last time I worked on it was 9/11/2021.

HALLOWEEN IN JULY

Happy July 1 everyone. I see a lot of posts about people stitching Christmas in July. I have never been a huge Christmas fan but I do have a favorite holiday. I've decided that it will be Halloween in July for me. If anyone would like to join me feel free to do so. This will be my rotation for July.

1st up in my Halloween in July rotation is All Hallows Hat. Actually made a pathetic start on 9/23/2021. Let's see if I can make some good progress.

AND WE HAVE PROGRESS

Good morning/afternoon/evening to all. I am happy to say I have made good progress on The Astronomer. There is hope that I will make more  progress in the  next 3 weeks.

This is what it looked like last time you saw it.

This is what it looks like now.

This is a hint as to why it moves so slow.

I am doing this SAL with a very talented group of ladies. Please go to their blogs to see the wonderful projects they are working on.

SAL UPDATE TIME AGAIN ON THE ASTRONOMER.

It's time for another update. I moved the q snap because the confetti was slowing me down. I really didn't work on it much till yesterday. (squirrels you know). Anyway I won't ramble here is what it looked like when I started yesterday and what it looks like when I'll be starting today.

Not as much as I would have liked but all stitches count.

I am doing this SAL with a group of very talented ladies. Please stop by their blogs to see the wonderful projects they are working on. Also welcome back Connie who has rejoined us.
