IT IS DEFINITELY WINTER IN MONTANA

I love where I live and would not want to live anywhere else. This year though winter came early. We have had snow at least once a week or so since September 25. The total so far for Great Falls is 55 inches. Our normal yearly total is 63.5 inches. I'd say we are going to have a record breaking year as winter has not even officially started yet. This is the snow from the latest storm.

I have been putting the hibernating time to good use. I have made progress on The Universe in a Jar and on Afternoon Tea.

Time to go stitch now.
Happy Stitching everyone.

I FOUND IT. SAL TIME AGAIN. AND OTHER THINGS.

I knew the correct project was out there somewhere & about 2 weeks ago I found it. It is a UFO that I started several years ago then put away. Now it is back out and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

This is what it looked like when I got it out.

I am now working from the bottom up. For some reason I hate stitching down. Go figure.
Here is where it is now. I decided to sort of outline the current page. We'll see how that works. I would like to have a page finish by the end of the year but won't hold my breath.

I also have a non stitchy finish. I also do diamond painting and finished this one last week.

I have started another one.

And last but not least I have also been knitting. I usually knit at knit group as it is the most portable hobby.

Well I have rambled on for long enough. Please make sure to go over and look at the wonderful projects the other members of this SAL are working on.

Avis, Claire, Gun, Carole, Sue, Constanze, Christina, Kathy, Margaret, Linda, Heidi, Jackie, Sunny, Hayley, Megan, Deborah, Mary Margaret, Renee, Jenny, Carmela, Jocelyn, Sharon, Daisy, Anne, Connie

I'll leave you with this picture of my Christmas Cactus. It is on a roll this year

FOCUS FAIL SAL UPDATE.

And again I have failed. I lost all interest in The Astronomer and wasn't stitching so I put him away looking like this

Then I decided to pull out Play Ball HAED Randal Spangler and work on that while I watched the World Series. Got some good progress but the the flitter bug hit again and I put that away looking like this.

While wandering through my huge stash of started HAED's I happened upon this one and it really yelled at me so out it came. I have been stitching on it now for two days and have made some good progress. I just wish I could stick with a project like you guys do. Oh well it is what it is and they all get some love.

So again I'm not promising that I will be able to stick with this but I will give it a good try. One of these days I'll hit on the ONE. Someone at one time told me that I am a process stitcher and that is why I don't get finishes. I like the stitching but not the finish.

Please make sure to check out the other talented stitchers I am doing this SAL with. They do amazing work and they even manage to stick with a project and get it done. Also we are welcoming Connie back to the SAL after a short break.
