TRYING TO DO BETTER

I have been a real slacker when it comes to my blogging. I am going to try and do better. Hopefully I will post at least once a week.

I hope everyone is safe and keeping busy with your crafting during these trying times.

One thing it has taught me is that I would have no problem being a hermit. When this first started up the beginning of March my daughter grounded me. I have health issues so she wasn't taking any chances. I have always hated shopping so not a big issue for me to be in the house and my yard all day. I haven't been out since then. She does the grocery shopping and any other errands that need to be done outside the house. She also grounded my husband but he doesn't go out much anyway due to health issues. Our weather here in Montana has been a great help with social distancing because even though it is April we have been getting snow at least once a week and it has been COLD. They do say that this week and the foreseeable future should be warmer and just rain if any precipitation at all.

The upside is all the crafting time I want. I get up and do all my chores in the morning. Usually by 10am I can sit down to stitch or diamond paint.  For some reason my knitting and crocheting bugs have left the premises.

I had a bit of startitis earlier this month. I started 4 new HAED's. I have also resurrected a long ignored HAED.

All of my stitching are Randal Spangler art work. He is my favorite artist and his draglings are just SO CUTE. I am doing what I call #YearofSpangler. So far I have been able to stick to is as I have so many of his charts and most of my WIPs are his.

First new start is Midnight Stories. This one seems to be an obsession right now. I started it on 3/5/2020. On 4/7/2020 I had a page finish and I haven't slowed down since.

Then since when you are reading Midnight Stories you get the Midnight Munchies.

Then I Sailed Away.

Then it started snowing so I had to start this cutie.

This one was started but on the wrong piece of fabric so it is in time out.

This is a restart of a long ignored WIP. I didn't like how it looked so I turned the fabric and started again.

As if stitching isn't enough Diamond Art Club is now charting his art for Diamond Painting. This was started today and I am also working on the cross stitch one with it.

Well I've rambled on enough. See you soon.

SAL SUNDAY

Well this month seems to be going faster than March did.

Since I have medical issues my daughter grounded me the beginning of March. I haven't been out of the house since then. One plus is lots and lots of stitching time.

As usual I can't stick to just one project. I am currently rotating 4. I stitch on each one for 2 days then rotate.

I have been making sure to stitch a lot on Midnight Stories which is still my focus piece for the SAL.

Here is where I was last time you saw it.

Since then I have had a page finish.

And here is where it is now.

I hope to keep this in the rotation for a long time..

Just to let everyone know I read all of your blogs but am unable to comment. Also for some reason Blogger has stopped notifying me when you comment on my posts. Sometimes it takes me a while to remember to check for comments. I really appreciate them even if I can't reply to them.

I am doing this SAL with a very talented group of stitchers. Please check out all of the wonderful projects they are working on. I also want to say welcome to Sherrie who is joining us and also welcome back to Linda.

Till next time stay safe and stitch on.
