I have decided on my new focus piece for the SAL. Apparently I kinda like being monogamous lol.
This is not a new start but a neglected WIP. I started it in March of 2021 and then put it aside. When I finished Theo's project it just seemed like I should pick this one up again because I am stitching it for his mom Stephanie. I am really enjoying it because there is not a lot of confetti on the part I'm stitching. I'm sure that will change as I get farther up.
I do this SAL with a group of very talented stitchers. Click on the links below to see their wonderful stitching.
Avis, Claire, Christina, Kathy
Sunny, Megan, Deborah, Sharon,
Until next time HAPPY STITCHING
Another big project for you Cindy. I look forward to watching its progress!
ReplyDeleteThis is a big one; how nice to start with no confetti!
ReplyDeleteI could easily be one of those people who have a ton of WIPs because I love starting new projects. However, I discovered a long time ago that I like finishing just as much so my new starts are now regarded as rewards for finishing. That's what I tell myself and it seems to work. Love the new project!
ReplyDeleteI do the same!!! There's a thrill in starting but finishing is equally satisfying as otherwise I just feel like an impulsive stitcher. Haha
Deletegosh, you really are a HAED addict, aren't you lol. I really admire these full coverage designs, but I don't have the patience myself.
ReplyDeleteI think I have this in the SAL version somewhere in stashland. I've always loved this as reading is another passion of mine. Looks great. x Alicia
ReplyDeleteWonderful one
ReplyDeleteI think it's a wonderful idea to pick this project up and you've already done so much!
