MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas full of love, fun & lots of stitchy stuffs.

Our Christmas is going to be pretty quiet. Only my daughters Sabrina & Jessica will be here today with their SO's. My son Matthew & his girlfriend were here last night as they have to spend today with her side.(They spent Thanksgiving here). DH & I are not exchanging gifts this year so nothing much going on until the girls get here this afternoon. Dinner will be simple also: ham, scalloped potatoes, peas & onions & sweet  potatoes. I like simple because it is less work for Mom.
On to stitchy things. I just finished a week  of stitching on Chocolate Chocolate & More Chocolate by Randal Spangler. I got tired of the cupcake so this week I worked on the cat. Made good progress as I had an extra day off work for Christmas. The first picture is what it looked like last Sunday and the 2nd picture is how it looks today. Last but not least is the Manock Christmas Tree this year. Hey, I have 7 month old kitten in the house. How long do you think a big tree with lots of playthings on it would last?

It's Sunday Again?

Boy the weeks just seem to be flying by. Has anyone else noticed that the older we get the faster time flys? Not good.
I didn't get as much done on Afternoon Tea as I would have liked. I was too tired to stitch a couple of nights this week & last Sunday(when I would have made good progress) I was busy finishing A Change of Pace so didn't get as many hours on Afternoon Tea as I would have normally.
I'm just about ready for Christmas. Just need to get a couple more gift cards for the kids. Slim pickings this year as can't afford alot. They are all grown though so are easier to buy for.

On to progress pictures of Afternoon Tea. On the top is what it looked like last Sunday & on the bottom is how it looks today. Not bad if I do say so myself.
This week I will be working on Chocolate Chocolate & More Chocolate by Randal Spangler.

Okay.blogger has pissed me off enough for one day. See you next week.

A Finish & An Update

I am rather pleased with myself today. Not only am I posting a picture of my progress on The Astronomer by Myles Pinkney (HAED) but I also have a finish.

A Change of Pace by Barbara & Cheryl has been sitting in my UFO pile for (prepare yourselves) 13 years.
Yesterday 12/10/11 it began yelling at me so I pulled it out & thought to self "Self if you put in a few stitches it will shut up for awhile". To my surpise I saw that I only had a small amount to finish & the rest is history. As of 3:30pm EST on 12/11/11 it is FINISHED.

Can you tell I am really really pleased with my self?

Now I can get out Afternoon Tea by Randal Spangler for the next week with a clear conscience.

It's Sunday again

Time just seems to be flying by & the older I get the faster it goes. I had a good week start on The Universe in a Jar by Randal Spangler. This one is going to be fun because it is so colorful. I have now put it away & for the next week will be working on The Astronomer by Myles Pinkney. This is the piece that got me hooked on HAED. Now I am hopelessly addicted & hope no one ever finds a cure.

Yesterday was the 12 hour stitchin at my LNS. No pictures this time because I forgot to take any. We were so busy stitching, gossiping & stashing that I just plain forgot.

Time to get back to stitching. Here is my progress picture for this week. I started in the lower left corner. I prefer to work left to right & bottom to top. I guess I'm just weird that way.
