Happy Memorial Day

This will not be a very long post today. Since I have been sick all week with pneumonia I haven't done as much stitching as I would like. I did stitch some every day but not much. Still I have now stitched all the way across the bottom row of Reading by Firefly Light. I didn't quite finish the last two pages but I am close. Problem is I am now bored with it so am switching projects today. I went & looked at all the projects in my rotation & Midieval Shelf was yelling the loudest so that is what I will be working on this week.
Someone asked me to add photos of the what the different projects will look like when finished so from now on I will try to remember to add the photos of the cover pictures.

Hope everyone has a fun & safe Memorial Day.

Hermitting & TUSAL

I finally hit the day for TUSAL. I'm usually late. Also it is Hermiting weekend & I have been. I am sick yet again (thanks to DD & her DBF). Bad cold with deep cough. Not good when you have COPD. The only good thing is lots of stitching time because I pretty much have to be sedentary right now. Yesterday I got in over 300 stitches on Reading by Firefly Light. I am almost done with the bottom row of pages. One more to go.
Jim is making great progress on Echo of the Buffalo also.
Okay pictures then I'm off to stitch.

This is my TUSAL for the entire year to date. Not bad. I may have to go to a larger container if I keep up this pace.

Blog Hop #2 To Stand or Not to Stand

I don't use a stand when I stitch. I really don't have room for one. I would love to try one though. I stitch large pieces & while I'm okay with them on my q snaps sometimes I wonder if it would be easier to put the q snap on a stand.

Happy Mother's Day

I hope everyone has a wonderful Mother's Day.

I'm not feeling well today so this will be a short post.

Our weather is finally nice so I was able to spend all day yesterday stitching on my front porch & watching the people go by (I live in the downtown area).

Jim made great progress on his Echo of the Buffalo by Teri Rosario.

I also made some good progress on Reading by Firefly Light. I only have 2 pages plus 1 10x10 square until I am fully across the bottom of the piece. Granted the pages are only small ones but hey they all count.

I also received the charts I ordered during the 50% off sale a couple of weeks ago. Love getting new stash.

I'll stop boring you now. Have a great day & get lots of stitching done.

Geez its May already??

Today is the first day this week that we have had sunshine. It has been gray & gloomy all week. We did get rain that we desperately needed so not all bad.
Nothing much new around here so I won't bore you for long today. Really just popped on to do update pictures of my Reading by Firefly Light  HAED Randal Spangler & Jim's progress on Echo of the Buffalo by Teri Rosario HAED.
Reading by Firefly Light will be staying with me for another week as it is still the one hollering the loudest.

It's a Blog Hop

"Have you ever had a case of the “stitching blahs” where you just didn’t want to stitch? Or maybe it was more like you didn’t get to stitch because you were busy and that created a chain reaction sense of the “blahs” and led to even less stitching…. sort of like a case of “the Mondays” that we are all familiar with. How do you handle your stitching blahs and get back into stitching mode?"

I don't think I've ever had the stitching blahs per se. I have had periods when I was bored with what I was stitching on & have not stitched as much as I ususally do. Since I have started stitching HAED's I am usually not bored. I have 10 of them started in my rotation so even if I start getting bored with one I have others I can switch to to relieve the boredom.
