I'M BACK

So glad to be back. Lots has been going on. The best thing is that on Nov 7 I became a grandma for the first time. My son and dil had a little boy and named him Theo James. He was a month early and had a couple of issues but he is doing great and hopefully will be going home sometime this month. He is magic.

That being said I have a new focus project and so far I haven't been able to put it down. I am stitching it for Theo. I had started it back in 2020 and then never touched it again. When he was born it seemed to be the perfect project to stitch for him. I picked it up again on Nov 9 and have been working on it since. According to my log book I did 6,285 stitches in Nov. I use Pattern Keeper and it is a game changer. Hoping to put a lot more stitches in this month.

Thanks for letting me rejoin Avis.

Till Jan HAPPY STITCHING.

OH MY IT'S SAL UPDATE TIME AGAIN.

I hope everyone has had a good 3 weeks of stitching. Mine was pretty good. I did make good progress on The Universe in a Jar. Hopefully I will continue at the same rate. Here is where it was the last time.

And here is where it is now. I did finish the area I was working on.

I'll probably move to the right and work on that section. Depends on how sick of 939 I get LOL.

TIME FOR ANOTHER SAL UPDATE

Wow 3 weeks seems to fly by. It is getting hot here this week so lots of stitching time. I don't like heat so I stay in the AC as much as possible.

The Universe in a Jar didn't get as much time as I hoped. I have an 8 project rotation that I am working on for July. They are all full coverage and are for important people in my life. My kids, their significant others, 1 for me and 2 memorial pieces. Universe is for my youngest daughter so it is prominent in the rotation. I try to do at least 100+ stitches on each project and I stitch on a different one every day. If I make my goal and still feel like stitching Universe gets some stitches so it's worked on more than just its day in the rotation.

I didn't meet my goal for this update. 939 is boring. LOL. Here is where you saw it last.

Here is where it is now. I will win with the 939. It will just take awhile. I am close to finishing the column.

SAL PROGRESS

I actually have good progress this time. Pattern Keeper is a game changers. Also our weather has been wet and dreary so that is good stitching weather.

Here is where it was last time you saw it. I have entered the land of 939. LOTS of 939 LOL.

Here is where it is now.

I hope to have the left hand column done by the next update.

SAL TIME AGAIN

I really don't have much to show this time. I missed last time because I forgot and hadn't been stitching.

This time I have done about 10 stitches so nothing to look at.

The big news with this post is:

I finally finished adding The Universe in a Jar to Pattern Keeper. That was a job.
According to PK I am at 133,394/229,950 (58.01%).
I decided to finish page 1. It is amazing that I have stitched this much of the chart and still have an unbelievable 25,584 stitches of 939 left to do while I only have 124 stitches of 310 left to do.

Hopefully there will be real progress for the next post.

IT'S TIME FOR ANOTHER SAL UPDATE

Hello everyone. Hope this finds all well and stitching away.

I have made good progress on The Universe in a Jar. Last time it was here.

Since then I have had another page finish and am continuing up the column. I am slowing down on this one. I will continue to put time in but right now I am at about 100 stitches a day.

Here is where I am as of yesterday

THE END OF MONOGAMOUS MARCH 2023

Today is the end of my Monogamous March. I am pleased and surprised that I only stitched on one project for the entire month. And I plan on doing it again in April. It will be All One April.

I stitched everyday and only had 3 days that I was under 100 stitches. 31 days--6,117 stitches. Photos are March 1, today and where I am starting tomorrow. Thank you so much for all of the support. Sometimes I feel you all must be getting bored seeing so many posts from me but for me it is very motivating to have progress to show you each day.
I will be working on this in my All One April event on FB.

KITTY KITTY

Elvira knows exactly how to spend a cold (26F) and cloudy Sunday.

SAL PROGRESS

Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is safe and well.

I have made a lot of progress on The Universe in a Jar since my last post. My Monogamous March is working quite well. I haven't stitched on anything else all month. Since the first of March I have put 5,024 stitches in to Universe.

Last time you saw it I had had a page finish. Since then I have had another page finish and really good progress on the next page. I have reached the top of the page now on the right side and have gone back to the bottom to catch up the left side.

Here is where it was last time.

After the page finish

And now

I am already considering another event for April called All One April. Nothing else is even whispering so I think that's a sign to continue on with this one. Maybe another page finish in April.
