FIRST SAL POST OF 2019 HAPPY NEW YEAR

I have been stitching a lot the past 3 weeks. I am still working on Sundae Delight which is my rotation piece for January. I got tired of the enormous banana on the bottom so I have been working my way up the left side. I usually do that first as I like to make sure my fabric is big enough before I stitch to much. Don't know why I didn't do it sooner. Looks like I'm okay though.

Here is where I was at the last update.  And where I am now.

For some reason blogger is being anal about letting me type under the photos so I will just have to do everything backwards.

I am doing this SAL with a lot of very talented stitchers. Please hop on over to their blogs to see the amazing projects they are doing.

Also want to welcome Mary Margaret back from her hiatus and welcome to two new members Renee and Jenny.

Till next update in 3 weeks Happy Stitching.

  2. That is one huge banana, I would have needed a break from the yellow too. You have gotten a lot done already this month!

  4. That banana is really detailed and lifelike -- totally fair to take a break. You've made so much progress already!

  7. Wonderful progress! The banana looks so real (though I should not be surprised, as Michele charts artwork so well and Spangler's work is fantastic!)

  8. I always start in the middle as a precaution and since messing up a project one time (I started 3 inches too high on my fabric) I've also been doing what you've done here, and stitch the edges of my design to check "it looks right". No amount of counting comforts me, I have to see it , to believe it !

  9. I can understand your need to move away from the banana - which looks very realistic!

  10. Lovely Stitching and I do that too...move around a bit depending on my mood and eyesight. But that banana looks awesome!

  11. Thank you for some other informative blog. Where else could I get that type of information written in such an ideal means? I have a mission that I’m just now working on, and I have been at the look out for such information. 성인용품쇼핑몰
