SAL TIME AGAIN--PROGRESS

I did make progress this time on the Cottage Garden Rug. What I thought was a pine cone is actually an aster of some sort.

Here is where it was last time

It has progressed a lot. I got a hair about whether the fabric was wide enough since this was started way back in 2003 so I went all the way across on the bottom row. It is wide enough. We just won't discuss the 3 inch border one side and the 2 inch border on the other side. LOL.

Here are progression photos.

Now I can work on the pretty flowers without worrying about fit.

I do this SAL with a group of very talented ladies. Please check out the wonderful stitching they do.

I hope everyone has lots of stitching time.

  6. Looking good. THe uneven border areas will work themselves out.. It's easier to hide in matting or even in plain framing. Enjoy your piece.

  7. Beautiful. I always measure my projects like that. Then laugh so many years later. Oops. Glad it fits.
