MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas full of love, fun & lots of stitchy stuffs.

Our Christmas is going to be pretty quiet. Only my daughters Sabrina & Jessica will be here today with their SO's. My son Matthew & his girlfriend were here last night as they have to spend today with her side.(They spent Thanksgiving here). DH & I are not exchanging gifts this year so nothing much going on until the girls get here this afternoon. Dinner will be simple also: ham, scalloped potatoes, peas & onions & sweet  potatoes. I like simple because it is less work for Mom.
On to stitchy things. I just finished a week  of stitching on Chocolate Chocolate & More Chocolate by Randal Spangler. I got tired of the cupcake so this week I worked on the cat. Made good progress as I had an extra day off work for Christmas. The first picture is what it looked like last Sunday and the 2nd picture is how it looks today. Last but not least is the Manock Christmas Tree this year. Hey, I have 7 month old kitten in the house. How long do you think a big tree with lots of playthings on it would last?

  2. I have a kitty as well. I have a 2 foot spruce (that will get planted in the yard if I don't kill it first)that I put glitter bows on. I can't begin to tell you have many times I've found one in the water dish - on the floor - up in my bedroom - lol My other 2 cats are older and don't bother anything. Great progress on your stitching! Merry Christmas!!!

  3. Got so much done on chocolate, now you have made me hungry. Have a cat as well about a year and she is not messing with the tree at all.

  5. Merry Christmas! I love your tree as I have one like it. It shares the Christmas spotlight with the Large ceramic tree I made Mom when she was first in the Nursing Home.

  7. Merry Christmas Cindy. We have 5 cats with the youngest being about 4 and a half. We have a child proof fence around our tree as at the moment our grandfur bunny lives with us until late January. i didn't want to wake up one morning to eaten presents or the bottom of tree missing.

    Your HAED is looking terrific.

  8. Great progress. Hey my tree looks exactly the same! Now that the kids are grown I just put this tree up right before we opened gifts and then it is gone.

We have a very clumsy dog so have a small table top tree, but it's nice even though it's small!

  12. It's a Charlie Brown tree!!! I love it! I need to get myself a little tree for next year. And more Christmas cards too. Your HAED looks great. Grats on the progress. (Also, I can see the icing on the cupcake, and it's made me hungry for cupcakes, lol.)
