It's Hermitting Weekend IHSW

Good morning everyone,

My stitching during the week was limited as I was so tired from work I kept falling asleep so only got in a few stitches each evening. I made up for it yesterday. I hermitted & got in 624 stitches on TUIAJ. Whew. I hope to do the same today.
Weather here has been cold & rainy but today is supposed to be beautiful. Already sunny & 41F.
I also got the six HAED charts that I ordered during the 50% off sale. I have one more coming. It should be here tomorrow.
Okay enough blabbering. Here is the good part. Progress picture of TUIAJ, pictures of new stash & a picture that proves my DH also stitches.(he didn't know I was taking them).
I also included a pic of the cover page for TUIAJ so you can see what it is supposed to look like when done.

  3. Enjoy seeing your WIp progress. Glad to know there are men that stitch. It is great. We need that stash. Know what you mean when you say you are so tired after work that you don't get to stitch as much as you would like.
    Happy stitching.

  8. Looking great! I couldn't resist the 50% off sale either and bought far more charts than I should have. May I ask what fabric you are using for TUIAJ please?

    1. Miamina,

      I use 25 count Lugana. I stitch 2 over 2.
      Which HAED are you stitching?

    2. I've just started on my first HAED projects and I'm stitching TT Violet Sometimes - Jasmine Becket-Griffith on 18ct Aida and I joined in with the BB SAL and made a start on SK Blue Moon on 25ct 1 over 1. I'm not enjoying stitching Blue Moon but I'm loving Violet Sometimes. I'm not sure whether it's the chart or the fabric that makes a difference so I was thinking of trying some other options for fabric for my next start.

Your projects always look so neat and lovely!

  16. Nice charts! It's so easy to get a ton during a sale.

I can relate about being too tired to get a lot of stitching done; it happens to me all the time. A little progress is better than none :)
