SAL TIME APRIL UPDATE

I'm back. All moved in and the main parts of the house are done. My craft room on the other hand. Well we just won't talk about that right now.

I did get some stitching in but as usual I have had stitchers ADD and have been stitching on 3 projects. I keep them by my chair and just pick up which ever one I feel like working on.

I don't have before pictures since my camera has stopped talking to my laptop. Here are some progress pictures I took with my  phone.

First up The Universe in a Jar. Last time I worked on it this is what it looked like. Haven't touched it in about a week.

Then there is Chocolate Chocolate and More Chocolate. Here is where I am right now.

Last but not least Play Ball which I am currently obsessed with. After all tis the season.

There are a lot of us doing this SAL. We all work on different projects. Please check out all of the other talented stitchers. If you are interested in joining us please contact Avis for details.

  1. It always amazes me how much you get done every time. The first priority when moving house is the kitchen and a close second is the crafting room in my opinion ;-)

    1. Kitchen is definitely first then bedroom and bathroom. I have all the time in the world now to set up my craft room without listening to hubby complain about the rest of the house being in disarray.

    1. Thanks Kathy. It is just one stitch at a time like any other stitching.

  4. Although i seem to have lost my mojo at the moment, normally I am like you and like to have two or three projects of the go. I get easily bored if I just stick to one lol.

  5. The fact that you got anything done at all is amazing. Still, that's the advantage of hand work: you can keep it by your chair, and you don't need a whole room to work in.

  6. I also have some projects next to my "TV chair". Crochet, hand piecing and embroidery. It´s a good idea, isn´t it! Then there will be progress on at least one project :)

  7. Glad you're moved in mostly! The craft room will take more time because you need to put everything in the right place, and figuring that out will be a bit. At least it would be for me. :) Great progress on everything!

  8. Love all the pieces you are working on Cindy! Glad to hear that the move is over and it was successful! I find that as long as I have some place to sit and stitch the craft room gets finished slowly but surely. It is not always easy trying to find just the rugh place fir everything.

  13. Go you, 3 at once is legendary! I would have a hard time picking between the 3 as they are all very cool. Hope the craft room is sorted by now
