HAED Rotation

IT'S SAL TIME AGAIN. SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

As you all know I have way too many huge full coverage pieces on the go. This SAL is helping me stay focused for a short amount of time but I have decided that all of them need some time. I have instituted a 24 hour rotation to see if I can stitch on some of the long neglected Spangler's I have started. (see previous post for details.) What this means is that you will probably see a different piece each time we update. So far I have done 24 hours on my first piece.

Midieval Shelf was started way back in Oct of 2011 (I know right) and saw little love. I pulled it out and put in 24 hours and I am very pleased with my progress.

Starting point.

After 24 hours of stitching on it.

I will be choosing a new project today. No idea which on but it will be a Spangler.

Hopefully by the next update I will have another 24 hours in on a project. Maybe 2 projects.

There are a lot of talented stitchers in this SAL. Please go check out all of the wonderful projects they are working on. (They focus much better than I do LOL).

2020

Okay it is confession time. I was rearranging my craft area today & organized my kitted up Spangler charts. I have 19 of them started and 3 that are not started. I know I'm late to the what am I going to stitch in 2020 but I have come up with a plan. Now if you know me and my stitching I am first off a serial starter. (the 19 Spangler's started are just a small part of the projects that are started around here). I also do not do good with deadlines or I must stitch this. I like to stitch what I want when I want. I have realized though that I need have progress on these wonderful projects so I am going to try a new kind of rotation. I will pick one project and stitch on it for 24 hours. Then I will randomly pick another one and stitch on that for 24 hours. After I have done 24 hours on each of the started ones I will start one of the kitted but not started ones. I am calling 2020 my YEAR OF SPANGLERS. We'll see how long this lasts.
I will quit rambling now and show you the first one up in the 24 hour rotation. I started Midieval Shelf in Sept 2011 and the last time I touched it was in 2013. I am ashamed.
Let's see how this experiment goes.

1ST SAL OF 2020.

Hard to believe it is a new decade already. Time is going way to fast.

I have made a new plan for my stitching in 2020. I am concentrating on the 3 HAED's that I am stitching for my children. I need to make major progress on them. I will work on whichever one is calling so you may see one now and a different one in 3 weeks. But it will only be the 3.

First up is Chocolate Chocolate and More Chocolate. I am stitching this one for my oldest daughter Sabrina.

Next up is The Universe in a Jar. This one is for my youngest daughter Jessica.

And last but not least Play Ball. This is for my baseball obsessed son Matthew.

Stay tuned to see what appears in the next SAL update.

Don't forget to stop by and check out the amazing stitching being done by the other talented people in the SAL. Also want to welcome AJ to the SAL.
