AND THEN THERE IS KNITTING.

As if I don't have enough to do between my cross stitch and crochet I have also started knitting again.
I blame it on the ladies at my stitch group. Most of them are also knitters and bring their gorgeous projects to group to work on. Also stitch group meets at the local LNS/LYS and we are surrounded by gorgeous yarns.

Here is my progress so far. Just doing a basic scarf to get my rhythm back. It has been at least 30 years since I quit knitting. As you can see I made a mistake so am waiting patiently till Tuesday when I can go in and have Ginny help me fix it.

I was all over the place yesterday. I cross stitched at group and then knitted(till mistake) and crocheted on the never ending granny square when I came home. Today I have been crocheting but will be picking up my stitching when I get done here.

Hubby is watching Walking Dead (which I don't watch) so I have my headphones on and am listening to music.

Here is my starting point today. More of the Mario mushroom. Yesterday's total was 86 stitches.

Hope everyone has a wonderful stitchy day.

Till tomorrow.

Cindy

  1. Variation in what we do can be dizzying. A scarf is a good return to knitting project.

  3. I agree with Gracie. I've recently started knitting again and my first project was a scarf. It is said that "a change is as good as a rest" - so thumbs up for variety.

  4. I can't figure out crochet, but will knit occasionally. Nice colours for the scarf and it looks like a fairly easy fix if I'm looking at the right spot. Love the mushroom!
