MARCH 12 SAL UPDATE

Here I am better late than never. I always seem to be last to post. I think I am the farthest time zone from everyone else in the SAL. They are posting while I am sleeping. I should post my update on Saturday night just to keep up with the Jones. But I never have been one to follow the pack so to speak. LOL.

I have been making good progress. The last time you saw The Universe in a Jar it looked like this.

I have had a page finish in between SAL updates. If you scroll down from this post you will see that photo.

Here is what it looks like today. I decided go up after my page finish instead of to the right as I wanted to stitch the top of the jar. Everyone here says it looks like one of the mushrooms from Super Mario Bros.

I love being part of this SAL. I get a lot of inspiration from the others. If you want to see some truly amazing stitching check out the others who are doing such beautiful work.

Till next month HAPPY STITCHING

  1. I'm really enjoying this one grow. You stitch so much every time! It's important to post on Sunday at "local time" so there's no need to change the day. Don't worry about being last. Someone has to be ;-)

  2. You are such a fast stitcher! I'm always amazed, and a tad jealous 😊 It looks great, those colours really pop don't they?

    1. Thanks. Not really a fast stitcher. I am retired and I live in Montana so plenty of stitching time in the winter. I will probably slow down a bit in the summer. Recently I have started knitting and crocheting again so that may put a dent in stitching time also.

  3. I'm usually one of the first, being in Australia, and although I post on Sunday, I tend to schedule it for the afternoon if I can, otherwise, not many of us have our posts up yet. But as Avis said, it doesn't matter about being the last, we just have to remember to come back and look! Love the jar top!
